I'm always a bit shaky and dazed once I've finished a big project. Sometimes I jump immediately into something else; others I force myself to take a breather. This usually isn't as good an idea as it seems at the time. I get twitchy if I don't have something to work on, but thinking about the next big thing is a little daunting at the moment.
So, I've done this in other arenas before: Give me a prompt. A scenario, an object, a location, a word, a link to an image, anything. I'll try to come up with a short story in a timely fashion. Original fiction only, please; if you're familiar with past projects of mine, I'll also write about characters or worlds I've already written about. Many thanks!

The one I'm currently listening to on repeat-ad-nauseam is Arlo Guthrie - Darkest Hour (lyrics) (performed live).
(Don't feel bad if the prompt doesn't work. I generally write about a quarter of the prompts people give me!)
